I have read in some reviews that Camera Awesome has SMS capabilities. I can't find the SMS option when sharing a photo. Was the option removed from iPhone/iPad version?

Due to the way apple restricts apps from sending photos in SMS messages the Camera Awesome app does not do it directly. In order for the SMS feature to populate, you will first need to upload to SmugMug, Facebook, etc. You can then go back and send via SMS.
