SmugMug Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SmugMug developers and end users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

How do I link to a specific location in a video hosted on SmugMug? For example, I'd like for users to be able to click on a link that would immediately jump to 30 seconds into a video.

Also, is it possible to do this with an embedded video?

It's not possible to do this right now, either in-gallery or in an embedded video. I'm sorry. – Andy Williams Feb 23 '12 at 22:09

Wow, I was really hoping that I just couldn't find the instructions for how to do this on the support site. Oh well, I guess I'll have to use YouTube for now, they support the feature. – Andrew Maiman Feb 23 '12 at 22:23

If Smugmug exposed a simple javascript API to your video player, then this problem could be solved with some custom user Javascript without Smugmug having to deliver the specific solution - just sayin'. – jfriend00 Feb 24 '12 at 14:18
