I'm thinking about starting a new website here to sell pictures for the Oasis Shrine Photography Unit to help raise $$ for the unit and hospitals for children. I started a trail site at oasispgotograpghy.smugmug.com but I'm not computer-savy.

I wish to sell the pics we take from this site and have our account# in case we need it. I was thinking about a "pro" site with a new domain name of...www.oasisshrinephotos.com as the site's name.

So, how much $ to get everything up and running and how do we get started?

You are asking a lot of different things here, and it looks more like a discussion then a single answerable question. This help page walks you through getting a domain and setting it up. It also gives you the info to contact Smugmug help: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93340

Basically, it's the cost of the domain + cost of Pro hosting. Pro is $150/year, a domain costs $10-25 per year.
