Please don't worry - SmugMug will not post anything to Facebook on your behalf.

If don't want to upload the images you have on your SmugMug site to your Facebook albums, you could simply share your SmugMug gallery/photo by posting the link to your SmugMug site. You can either simply copy the URL of your gallery/photo or use the "Get a Link" feature by clicking the "Owner share" button. Please read more about it on our help page: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93254-get-a-link-to-your-galleries-photos-lightbox-slideshow-etc-

If you'd like to post/upload images from your SmugMug gallery to your Facebook album, you'd need to follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Homepage > Tools > Go to Control Panel > Settings Tab > Site-wide Features > Social Settings > Use Facebook for Logging In > click "Enabled"

  2. Go to http://www.smugmug.com/darkroom and if you see the green "JOIN" button in section "Publish to Facebook", click on it.

  3. Log into your SmugMug account with your Facebook credentials.

  4. Click on "Owner share" and select "Publish to Facebook". Please read more about it on our help page: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/256170-publish-to-facebook
