How do I remove fx presets from photos taken with camera awesome

I've accidentally left on a camera awesome fx preset when taking some holiday photos - how can I remove them so my pictures look normal?

The only way I have found to do this is to use the save to camera roll option. One of the choices will be to save the original photo. Tap it. That will save the original to the camera roll. You can then import it back to Camera Awesome to share it etc.
