I'm having trouble figuring out the best way to offer prints from a weekend of "mini shoots". The last time I did this, I set up print credits and then ended up owing money on some of my clients orders.

Ideally I would like to be able to do this. . . . . . The families (approx 25) pay for their session, and included in the session they get (for example) 2 "free" 5x7s. Obviously once they are in their gallery I expect them to order beyond these prints.

I need to know the best way to set this up so I dont end up paying out of pocket. It was suggested that I set a "minimum order" on the print credit, however I feel that the cost of the shoot is the "minimum order". Make sense?

If there are other pros with a similar set up, Id be happy to follow their example.

Thanks so much. Jess

This request seems like a perfect time to use Coupons if you have an account that supports it, such as Pro or Business. The way to do it would be a coupon for "Amount Off". You can set the minimum purchase that must be made, as well as the effective dates.
