SmugMug Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SmugMug developers and end users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

My current event URL is listed as follows: http://cleverfellowphoto.smugmug.com/event/Music-In-The-Moonlight/RHiSc36xOcNMM

I see no reason why it is putting the "/RHisc36x0cNMM" and would not like that to be there.

Reading through the help did not give me a clear direction, so is there someone who knows how to correct this?

Thanks!

The 'RHisc36x0cNMM' is a key that's added to the end of the url when the Event is set as 'Unlisted'. The key prevents others from guessing the url to the Event. If you set the Event to be 'Public', then no key will be added.

From the help page: "Note: If you've opted to leave the event unlisted, we'll add a code to the end of the URL as a security measure. This way people won't accidentally stumble on your private event pages."
