SmugMug Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for SmugMug developers and end users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I took a video with Smugmug and then shared it via Facebook. I then took several more videos but now cannot access them via the camera roll to share. When I click on the camera roll Smugmug crashes. I've tried about 20 times. I've powered my phone off/on, reset my Smugmug info in settings, and still nothing. How can I get to the videos I took?

Got the same problem. Tried these solutions but no go Using iPhone 4S the app closes shortly after opening. 6,25gb free No updates App not open during sharing reset Any fixes for this. My videos are not accessible. The last activity was uploading a video to Facebook. I think that killed it. Sincerely Jay Lepore Compumatter – Jay Lepore Dec 29 '12 at 11:27

You may need to reset your sharing account settings and also close the app completely. Open up the iPhone settings app > Camera! section and enable " reset sharing accounts".

Go to your home screen and double tap the home button to bring up the app switcher bar at the bottom. In the app switcher bar, hold your finger on the Camera Awesome icon until the app switcher icons at the bottom start wiggling. Tap the red closing icon next to the Camera Awesome icon to close it completely. Then tap the home button once more.

Afterwards, make sure that you have the latest version of Camera Awesome installed (check your app store app for updates).

It also may be that your phone is running low on free space. Especially with videos, it's easy to fill up the phone fast and if you don't have enough free space, exporting / sharing may fail. Go to the settings app > general > about and make sure that you have at least 4GB of free space. For very long videos, you may require even more free space.
