Thanks for the kind words and suggestions. I've passed your suggestions on to our team. For future suggestions, would you mind adding them to the SmugMug feedback page?
I'm glad to hear that you were able to get your photos archived.

You can turn off the automatic Effects in Camera Awesome by going to the camera mode, and touching the little arrow at the top of the screen. Touch the FX option, and then scroll over to find the highlighted effect. Simply touch the highlighted effect to de-select it, and that will disable the automatic effect :-)

Cross posting is not done by the app itself, it's done by SmugMug who handles the submissions to the various sites. Posts not showing up is not currently a known issue, so please do get in touch with SmugMug Support Heroes who can help you out. http://help.smugmug.com

Due to the way apple restricts apps from sending photos in SMS messages the Camera Awesome app does not do it directly. In order for the SMS feature to populate, you will first need to upload to SmugMug, Facebook, etc. You can then go back and send via SMS.

Christian,
I think that the best solution for you would be to transfer your photos to your computer. You can do that by using the iExplorer application - it is available for PC and MAC. It works like a file explorer.
You can download the app from here:

In this situation I would suggest to uninstall the app and install a fresh copy from the App Store.
Before you do that, you will need to backup your photos - otherwise all photos that you have in Camera Awesome library will be deleted as well.
To backup your photos to your computer from the Camera Awesome library, you could use a small program called ...

I am sorry, there is not a way to restore this file, as all the data is not present. Battery and storage can play into why it was not saved correctly.

The easiest way to delete all Camera Awesome photos is to delete the entire app. On the iPhone, go to Settings -> General -> Usage, choose Camera!, and click the "Delete App" button. Then either resync your phone or get Camera! again from the App Store app. I have no idea what happens to any purchased filters/frames/etc. You will have to set up any ...
