It is not allowed to hide the Smugmug credit in the footer. A long time ago, it used to be allowed so a few sites have it grandfathered in (and some sites do it without permission), but Smugmug does not allow you to hide it now.
This seems inappropriate to me for pro accounts, but those are the rules they have.
