You do not need an account to download photos. If the photos are not protected, you can point at the large preview image on the right in the SmugMug Viewing Style. A popover will appear with a save photo icon on it. Click that to download.

Rest your phone via: holding down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds. First you'll see the aforementioned red slider; just keep holding the buttons. Then the screen will go blank; keep holding the buttons until you see the Apple logo. Then let 'em go.
Now power back up.... Should fix most issues.?
