Events: Guest Registration Keep in mind that a person can enter any email address and therefore pretend to be someone else. I don't think it's in the interest of you or your client to have a friend, family member etc. register as your client and select funny or unrelated photos as some kind of practical joke. So the email verification ensures that the person selecting the photos has actually access to the email address they registered with. |

Help with 'thumbs up' in a gallery! @LauraOlson Is the gallery password protected or unlisted? Photorank only works in public, not password protected galleries. If you're a Pro user, instead of having your client comment on all photos, take a look at the events feature that Andy suggested. With it, your client could click on the heart icon below a photo to make it a favorite. |

Camera Awesome App froze while trying to export to camera roll @Ana, go to the iPhone settings app > Camera! section. There enable the "reset sharing accounts" setting. Then make sure to close the app completely: 1. on the home screen, double tap the home button to bring up the app switcher 2. hold down on the app icon in the app switcher until it starts wiggling. 3. tap the red closing X next to the app's icon 4. tap the home button once more 5. relaunch the app. Then the app shouldn't crash anymore and you should be able to export your photos to the camera roll. |

Why is information such as how to use Extras not included in the API documentation? A bit more information on the extras option is included in this release thread for the API 1.2.2 when the feature was seemingly introduced. |

How do I change number of thumbnails per row? @dpollitt Yes, but what you suggest is for the category/gallery box only. It sounds to me as if the question was directed towards the display within a gallery ("album viewer") where to my knowledge the number of thumbnails and the size of the photo on the right in SmugMug style is determined automatically depending on the browser window size. |

Are Events supposed to modify the breadcrumb trail? When you visit an event page, it's likely that a cookie is set that tells us what breadcrumb to display. If you clear your SmugMug and custom domain cookies (if you use one), the cookie should be cleared and display the regular breadcrumb for your galleries as long as the event page isn't visited. Can you give that a try? |
