As a non-professional user, why would one pay for smugmug instead of use a free site? I'm just a hobbyist, but I pay for smugmug because it's the right thing to do and I love the Smugmug Support Heroes. |

How to determine low resolution vs high resolution image downloads? keep in mind that if you are loading images by pixels, DPI only matters for printing. So it's appropriate to say "I have a 4x4 pixel image at 300dpi", but not "I have a 1900x1400 pixel image at 300dpi". |

What DNS settings do I need to setup my custom domain? note there's a tip on there: "Tip: Using a subdomain? No need to set up the A Record." Basically, the cname is for the domain (foo.abc.com) and the A record is for the root (abc.com). |
